Announcements
Greetings fellow homeowners in South Bay
Spring is finally here after a long, cold winter. Hopefully spring and summer will be much kinder to our lawns and plants than the damaging cold we experienced this past winter. Now is the time to get out in your yards, enjoy this great weather and get our neighborhood spruced back up. With all the tropical plants used in our yards, many of us will be replacing a significant amount of our landscaping. This will be the perfect time to pick drought tolerant plants that are native to the area and fit in nicely with our overall Green Scheme.
Part of the beauty of South Bay is of course the number of trees and extensive walking paths that are here for all the residents to enjoy. You will note that we have done a lot of trimming and back cutting over the winter to open up the common areas in order to provide a safer environment for our residents to enjoy. You should also see the spring flower plantings along all the islands, at the entrance and around the tennis court area that are currently underway. Spring is here and now is the time to have our yards and homes in perfect condition. Nothing protects our overall property values more than keeping our neighborhood standards high.
Please keep in mind that we have a very active architectural review board that will work with you on any physical changes to your property. All residents are required by our Covenants and Restrictions to get approval for painting, landscaping and additions to homes. Our ARB team will work with you to ensure this process is handled in a professional manner. Pre-approval saves everyone time and money!
